What will CTIN do?
Led by CCTT, CTIN will seek to expand Canada’s technical skills inventory by increasing the numbers of foreign-trained technology professionals seeking Certification from CCTT’s provincial constituent members (CMs). CTIN will engage CCTT’s provincial associations in the process of developing programs and building capacity that will expedite credential recognition and ultimately their ability to attract and retain new members. The SIEN will also play a key role in managing expectations and familiarizing foreign trained technology professionals on labour market conditions, employment opportunities and language and technical requirements prior to their arrival in Canada.
