Introduction
The Canadian Council of Technicians & Technologists (CCTT) in partnership with the National Council of Deans of Technology (NCDoT) and the Council of Registrars (COR) developed new outcome-based requirements for national accreditation and certification in Canada.
The National Technology Benchmarks (NTB) have been accepted by the Association of Community Colleges (ACCC) who have indicated a willingness to work on the project for the benefit of all educational agencies in Canada.
The NTB consist of web-based documents available in both English and French. Industry consultation is a major component and will continue to represent a driving force, ensuring that the NTB remain current with employer requirements across the country.
