Project Background
The rationale for this initiative is supported by findings and recommendations resulting from the National Stakeholder Consultation on Attracting and Integrating Technically Trained Immigrants into Canada’s Workforce (Stakeholder Consultation). Made possible through HRSDC funding, the Stakeholder Consultation was initiated by The Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists (CCTT) in September 2007 and completed in March of 2008. The consultation provided a framework and strategy for enhancing the attraction and integration of foreign trained technicians and technologists into Canada’s workforce through the development of the Canadian Technology Immigration Network (CTIN).
